LCAMP in collaboration with Slovenian industry

Presentation of the international project LCAMP and opportunities for cooperation with the Slovenian
industry

On Thursday 26 October, the School Center Nova Gorica hosted an exciting space organised by the

Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges (Skupnost VSŠ) and attended by future VET graduates, and 20 industry players from across Slovenia. Skupnost VSŠ and KIC, represented by Miha Zimšek and Lucija Vihar, respectively, joined forces to present the LCAMP project, and the opportunity for industry players to join the LCAMP’s Strategic Alliance.

Early in the event, Miha introduced the LCAMP project, showcasing its potential to transform the educational landscape and create opportunities for the future workforce.  He highlighted the project’s dedication to shaping a sustainable future for Advanced Manufacturing, starting with the learner, and outline how the project will push for more cooperation and networking between VET/HVET institutions and companies, to bridge skill gaps in the industry and facilitate knowledge transfer.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the School Center Nova Gorica for hosting this event, creating an

environment conducive to collaboration and, of course, treating attendees to delicious treats!

As we continue to build bridges between education and industry, the LCAMP project stands as a beacon, illuminating a path to a more connected and vibrant future.
