LCAMP Brings Learners to the Centre at the Forum on Vocational Excellence 2025
The Danish city of Kolding hosted the Forum on Vocational Excellence 2025 on 8–9 September, gathering more than 350 participants from across Europe and beyond.
An international project working to build a sustainable future of Advanced Manufacturing, starting with the learner.
LCAMP aims to become the European reference platform for knowledge generation, exchange, collaboration, and service provision for VET/HVET centres and companies within the Advanced Manufacturing sector.
LCAMP aspires to further collaboration and networking between VET/HVET centres and companies/company associations working in the Advanced Manufacturing sector to reduce skill gaps in the industry and transfer knowledge between VET centres and companies.
LCAMP’s strategic objectives are to develop mechanisms for defining skills of the future, personalised learning paths for students, and recognise applicable micro-credentials. This involves creating an Advanced-Manufacturing-focused future trends Observatory, setting up an Open Innovation Community, running a Collaborative Learning Factory, promoting synergies with other EU initiatives, and ensuring the LCAMP platform becomes self-sustainable.
The LCAMP project aims to support and empower regional Advanced Manufacturing Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) to become more resilient and better equipped to train, upskill, and reskill young and adult students for successfully facing the digital and green transitions.
