
On October 24, 2024, the Smart Collaborative Learning Factory specialization area of TKNIKA brought together representatives from 22 Vocational Education and Training (VET) centers across the Basque Country for a pivotal meeting at Miguel Altuna. This event aimed to disseminate the objectives and progress of the LCAMP project while fostering collaboration among the participating centers.
The day commenced with a presentation of the Collaborative Learning Factory by LCAMP, led by Unai Ziarsolo. This introduction set the scene for a deeper understanding of the project’s vision and impact. Participants then had the opportunity to explore Miguel Altuna’s state-of-the-art facilities during a guided tour, providing a tangible glimpse into the innovative learning environments shaping the future of vocational education.
Following a coffee break, representatives from the 22 centers came together for a dynamic group discussion. They shared their initial conclusions, reflecting on the Collaborative Learning Factory’s potential to enhance vocational education and training. The exchange of ideas during this session enriched the dialogue, offering fresh perspectives and fostering a spirit of mutual learning.
The latter part of the meeting was dedicated to addressing the priority areas of the LCAMP LF-SAT program, which focuses on driving advancements in Smart Collaborative Learning Factories. Participants worked collaboratively to define the next steps, setting clear timelines and actionable goals to guide their ongoing efforts.
This gathering at Miguel Altuna was more than just an opportunity to disseminate information about the LCAMP project; it was a catalyst for deeper collaboration among VET centers in the Basque Country. By aligning on shared objectives and charting a path forward, the participants took a significant step toward strengthening vocational education through innovative and collaborative learning approaches.
