LCAMP at the heart of industrial innovation: highlights from SIANE Industries and European collaboration

The European project LCAMP was recently showcased at SIANE Industries, the leading industrial trade fair, held in Toulouse from 14–16 October 2025.

On 16 October, LCAMP partners, including Mecanic Vallée and the Campus of Trades and Qualifications for the Industry of the Future, participated in a dedicated conference, highlighting the project’s contributions to advancing skills, innovation, and collaboration in advanced manufacturing.

The event also marked the launch of the MV-IA group, an initiative emerging from LCAMP activities. Its goals are to:

  • Anticipate the impacts of artificial intelligence on industrial companies,
  • Share experiences and best practices in AI and manufacturing,
  • Develop concrete, tailored solutions for the sector,
  • Leverage available funding opportunities to accelerate innovation.

From 8–10 October, three representatives from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) visited the Campus of Trades and Qualifications for the Industry of the Future to strengthen cross-border collaboration.

Highlights of the visit included:

  • Training on Arkite technology, an augmented reality tool that supports assembly processes,
  • Discussions on the LCAMP Collaborative Learning Factory (CLF), with contributions from Lycée La Découverte de Decazeville,
  • A mini-conference on augmented reality applications, bringing together partners such as Ratier-Figeac, Figeac Aero, STS, IUT de Rodez, and Lycée Jean Dupuy – Tarbes.

These activities illustrate LCAMP’s mission to enhance skills, drive innovation, and foster cooperation between academic institutions and industrial partners at both regional and European levels.

Through initiatives like the MV-IA group, CLF workshops, and hands-on technology demonstrations, LCAMP is actively supporting next-generation manufacturing skills, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and promoting collaborative learning environments.

The project thanks all partners and participants for their warm welcome and the opportunity to share insights on augmented reality and advanced manufacturing solutions.
