LCAMP has been selected as a good practice in the first edition of the Good Practice Catalogue (Vol. 1), published under the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) established by the European Commission’s DG REGIO. The catalogue brings together initiatives from across Europe that effectively address talent development and skills challenges in regional contexts.

What is the Harnessing Talent Platform?
The Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) is an initiative by the European Commission aimed at supporting regions facing demographic and talent development challenges. Through the Talent Booster Mechanism, HTP works to strengthen regional ecosystems for skills and innovation by connecting local authorities, stakeholders, and experts via dedicated Working Groups. These groups focus on key policy areas such as Digital Transformation, Research & Innovation (R&I), Healthcare, and Territorial Cohesion.
LCAMP’s Contribution
The inclusion of LCAMP in the HTP catalogue acknowledges its strategic role in supporting skills development in the advanced manufacturing sector through strong regional cooperation and innovation. LCAMP fosters collaboration between vocational education providers, industry, and regional authorities to align training with emerging labour market needs.
The initiative was nominated by EARLALL, LCAMP’s communications manager and active member of the HTP Research & Innovation Working Group. In this capacity, EARLALL contributes to guiding policy learning between regions and is responsible for LCAMP’s communication efforts.
A Catalogue Rooted in Regional Realities
The Good Practice Catalogue showcases 31 initiatives selected by the HTP Working Groups. Each practice was assessed for its effectiveness, impact, and potential for replication, and is accompanied by insights from the Working Group members who nominated them. These contributions reflect real-world experience and offer a valuable resource for policymakers, practitioners, and regional stakeholders.
The selected practices align with the Strategic Roadmaps of each Working Group, covering themes such as digital skills, health workforce development, innovation ecosystems, and inclusive territorial strategies.
Looking Ahead
The publication of Volume 1 marks an important milestone for the HTP and its Working Groups. A second volume is planned for 2026, aiming to build on this first collection with additional practices and shared learnings from across Europe.
The LCAMP team is proud to contribute to this shared European effort and looks forward to continuing its work in building more agile, innovative, and inclusive vocational education systems.
