LCAMP Project Partners Convene in Finspång as Initiative Enters Final Phase

On 15 May 2025, the LCAMP project partners gathered in Finspång, Sweden, for a key project meeting hosted by Curt Nicolin Gymnasiet. This strategic gathering marked a crucial step as the initiative enters its final phase, with partners aligning on the next steps for Work Packages (WPs) and laying the groundwork for the final project stages.

The meeting followed a packed agenda that provided updates and facilitated in-depth discussions on several WPs. The morning sessions included:

  • Skills Observatory (led by Mecanic Vallée)
  • VET-SMEs connection and Open innovation community ((led by AFM, AFIL, and TKNIKA)
  • Learner-Centred Training section
  • Collaborative Learning Factories ((led by Miguel Altuna)
  • Future of the LCAMP Alliance (led by TKNIKA)

This productive day of collaboration came immediately after the successful LCAMP 2025 Conference: Networking Camp, which took place from 13–15 May. Hosted in Sweden, the conference gathered nearly 200 educators, innovators, and industry leaders from across Europe, the United States, and Canada. The event served as a landmark moment for the promotion and development of vocational education and training (VET) in the field of advanced manufacturing.

Highlights of the conference included inspiring keynote sessions, dynamic networking opportunities, and insightful discussions. Participants also took part in company visits to Siemens Energy, KL Industri AB, and the Visualisation Center, as well as an engaging tour of Linköping University’s Department of Management and Engineering (IEI).

As LCAMP looks toward its conclusion, the spirit of cooperation and shared vision remains strong among its partners. The consortium will reconvene later this year in Brussels, where the final stages of the project will be planned and celebrated.
