San Sebastián (Spain) & Bidart (France), April 2–3, 2025 – The EU4Dual Annual Conference 2025, held under the inspiring theme “Greener Visions, Brighter Futures”, gathered over 300 participants from more than 15 countries to explore the future of Dual Higher Education, the Green Economy, and the Future of Work.
The event served as a platform for educators, industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to engage in meaningful dialogue on how cross-border cooperation and dual education models can accelerate the transition to more sustainable economies and resilient education systems.
Among the key contributors was Prof. Klaus-Dieter Rupp (DHBW-Heidenheim), representing LCAMP and bringing a strong voice from the advanced manufacturing education sector. During the conference, Prof. Rupp presented on “Implementation of Learning Pathways for Advanced Manufacturing,” offering insights into how structured, modular approaches to vocational and higher vocational education can better equip learners for emerging challenges in industry and technology.
This presentation highlighted the work of LCAMP in designing innovative pathways that blend hands-on experience with cutting-edge technical knowledge, aligned with industry needs and sustainability goals.
Earlier in March, Prof. Rupp also contributed to CLF 2025 (Collaborative Learning Factory Conference) in Session 12, titled “Learning Factory Concepts and Infrastructure,” chaired by Prof. Joachim Metternich (TU Darmstadt – PTW). His presentation on “Configuration Manager for a Collaborative Learning Factory” further emphasized LCAMP’s role in developing smart, adaptive infrastructures for vocational excellence.
As the green and digital transitions reshape work and learning, events like the EU4Dual Annual Conference reinforce the importance of international partnerships like LCAMP in shaping future-proof, learner-centred education systems.
