In the context of a regional stakeholders’ event in the Basque Country, Tknika hosted a pivotal meeting to explore synergies between the LCAMP project and TKgune, a collaborative network driving innovation between Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres and SMEs. This session was a significant step toward amplifying the impact of both initiatives on education and regional economic development.
The meeting opened with an introduction by Iñigo Mujika from Tknika, who highlighted LCAMP’s objectives, particularly focusing on the work on the LCAMP’s Open Innovation Community (Work Package 4) and the opportunities for SME_VET Connection (Work Package 7). These areas emphasize fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge transfer between VET institutions and industry players.
TKgune, a well-established platform, was showcased as a prime example of how VET centers can effectively partner with SMEs to drive innovation in sectors like manufacturing and digitalization.
