The 32nd International Machine Tool Biennial (BIEMH) took place from 3 to 7 June 2024 in Bilbao. This event is considered as the main industrial fair held in Spain and the third most important in Europe. This edition brought together 1,500 exhibiting companies from 29 countries and received nearly 38,000 visitors from 67 different countries. LCAMP partner AFM Cluster is among the organisers.
The organizers of the 32nd BIEMH provided a unanimous assessment: from all perspectives—occupancy, visitors, business contacts, and business opportunities—Spain’s largest industrial fair has been, as anticipated during its presentation, one of the best in the event’s long history.
The 32nd BIEMH stood out for the excellent display of Advanced and Digital Manufacturing Technologies throughout its six pavilions. Filled with new products, including the latest domestic and foreign machine tools, 3D printing equipment, all types of components, the most advanced cutting tools, and all sorts of elements and solutions for digitizing, automating, and robotizing processes and services, the BEC corridors were crowded during the five-day event. In addition to the spectacular display of machine manufacturers, components, and systems for production, a varied offering of conferences and talks was also presented.
In this context, AFM Cluster was exhibiting at its stand located in hall 1, where it took the opportunity to promote the projects it is currently participating in. Among these projects, the LCAMP project was presented, along with the projection of the promotional poster and the distribution of the project’s brochures to visitors at the stand.
