Experience report / Exchange Meeting: Learning factories with Lucas Nülle systems

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The learning factory featuring the Lucas Nülle system is an excellent example of didactic integration into the vocational learning environment. It is supported by high-quality materials, digital learning stations and modular technology. It provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience of Industry 4.0. However, challenges exist in terms of maintenance, resource requirements and leadership.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

The exchange showcases the educational and technological benefits of learning factories equipped with Lucas-Nülle systems for vocational training. It promotes the development of practical Industry 4.0 skills through modular, digitally supported learning environments featuring interactive courses and personalised differentiation. The provision of open teaching materials under a CC BY licence enables their sustainable integration into educational plans and supports research into the permeability between vocational and academic education. Despite implementation hurdles, the system’s flexibility and didactic quality make it a forward-looking contribution to the development of vocational education and training (VET).
