On Tuesday, November 12, the Campus Pro France-Italy Forum brought together educators and industry leaders at the French Embassy in Rome. Organized by the French Embassy and Institut Français Italie, the event showcased innovative projects fostering collaboration and the exchange of best practices between France and Italy.
Among the highlights was a presentation by Camille Léonard, European Projects Officer at the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications de l’Industrie du Futur (CMQ). She introduced the LCAMP project.
The Forum was focused on Franco-Italian collaborations on vocational education and advanced manufacturing and an afternoon workshop dedicated to networking and brainstorming, these sessions encouraged the development of new projects and the sharing of best practices among attendees.
LCAMP: A Platform for Collaboration
Camille Léonard‘s presentation emphasized the unique role of LCAMP in fostering cross-border collaboration, particularly between France and Italy. The project’s Italian partners were spotlighted, along with joint actions such as:
- Work Package 3 reports (WP3), showcasing detailed collaborative efforts.
- Initiatives within the LCAMP Alliance, which serves as a hub for fostering international partnerships in advanced manufacturing education.
- The CLF (Collaborative Learning Factories), which provide innovative, real-world learning environments.
Camille Léonard expressed optimism about LCAMP’s ability to bring on board new partners, sharing that two French CMQs and several Italian ITS institutions showed strong interest in joining the alliance.
