On 11 March, LCAMP partners came together for an inspiring event at CIFP Armeria Eskola LHII, hosted and opened by Imanol Urreisti, Executive Director of the school. The event brought together educators and practitioners from local VET centres to share experiences, exchange best practices, and explore ways to strengthen collaboration across the Basque Country.
Learning Factories in action
The highlight of the event was the presentations on the LCAMP Learning Factory models by:
- CIFP Miguel Altuna LHII
- CIFP Tolosaldea LHII
- CIFP Mendizabala LHII
- CIFP Armeria Eskola LHII
Speakers shared the operational approaches of their Learning Factories, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned from implementing hands-on, industry-aligned learning environments. These insights sparked interactive discussions on how to improve and adapt Learning Factory models to local contexts.
Visiting the facilities
Participants had the opportunity to tour the CIFP Armeria Eskola LHII Learning Factory, seeing firsthand how practical, real-world learning is embedded in the curriculum. The visit offered inspiration for VET centres looking to enhance student engagement, technical skills, and innovation capacity.
Collaboration at the heart of LCAMP
The event demonstrated LCAMP’s core principle: learning together and moving forward through collaboration. By connecting VET centres, educators, and industry partners, LCAMP fosters environments where students gain the skills and experience needed to thrive in modern workplaces.
This initiative is supported by TKNIKA, FPEuskadi, Eusko Jaurlaritza – Hezkuntza Saila, Ikaslan Gipuzkoa, and Ikaslan Bizkaia, highlighting the strength of regional partnerships in promoting vocational education and training.
The LCAMP network continues to show that collaboration, innovation, and shared learning are key to building stronger, future-ready talent pipelines across the Basque Country.
